We are delighted to be able to confirm, further to a period of planning and transition, the introduction of a new shareholder within the business – Jason Collins. Jason will be an incredible asset to the business and support the next chapter in the TudorMay story.
TudorMay is delighted to announce a major milestone in its journey, with the completion of a share sale that has been in development over the past six months. We can now confirm that esteemed entrepreneur Jason Collins has acquired a 50% stake in TudorMay, marking a new era of opportunity and growth for the business.
This significant change in ownership allows our founder, Johnny Tudor, to move on to new ventures after more than two decades of tireless dedication and leadership. Johnny founded the business over 20 years ago and played a pivotal role in shaping TudorMay into the respected and successful company it is today. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Johnny for his unwavering commitment and outstanding contributions. We wish him and his family every success in the future.
We are thrilled to welcome Jason Collins as he joins us for the exciting next phase of the TudorMay journey. Jason brings with him a wealth of experience, credibility, and vision. His track record speaks volumes—most notably his role as the founder of Apogee, where he spent over a decade building a powerhouse enterprise. During his tenure, Jason led the acquisition of around 30 businesses, helped generate £52 million in annual profit, and ultimately guided Apogee to a successful exit via sale to global tech leader HP (Hewlett-Packard).
Jason’s addition to TudorMay represents a huge step forward. His strategic insight and business acumen will play a crucial role in accelerating our growth ambitions. We have bold plans to expand our services across the construction industry, grow our geographic footprint, and continue to build on the strong reputation we’ve earned for quality and delivery. Whilst we will achieve natural organic growth, we are also looking to acquire businesses both in our current sector and directly linked sectors.
“It’s both an honour and a pleasure to be joined by someone of Jason’s calibre. His influence and entrepreneurial track record will be instrumental as we write the next chapter of the TudorMay story.”
Lee May, CEO.
